Provide Basic Supplies
One of the ways we help Native Americans is by providing basic supplies. We know that many Native Americans lack access to essential items that can improve their quality of life, such as food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and household goods. We also understand that Native Americans have diverse and rich cultures, traditions, and values that influence their preferences and needs.
That is why we offer various basic supply programs that aim to meet the immediate and long-term needs of Native Americans. Our basic supply programs include:
Food assistance: We help Native Americans who are facing food insecurity and hunger. We provide nutritious and culturally appropriate food baskets, vouchers, and coupons to help them purchase or receive food from local stores, farmers, and food banks. We also support community gardens, food preservation, and nutrition education initiatives that promote food sovereignty and health.
Clothing assistance: We help Native Americans who need clothing for different seasons, occasions, and purposes. We provide new or gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories to help them dress appropriately and comfortably. We also offer sewing machines, fabrics, and patterns to help them make their own clothing, especially traditional and ceremonial attire.
Hygiene assistance: We help Native Americans who need hygiene products for personal care and sanitation. We provide soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine products, diapers, wipes, and toilet paper to help them maintain their hygiene and prevent diseases. We also distribute masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants to help them protect themselves and others from COVID-19 and other infections.
School supply assistance: We help Native American students who need school supplies for their education. We provide pens, pencils, markers, erasers, scissors, glue sticks, rulers, paper, index cards, notebooks, folders, and backpacks to help them excel in school and in life. We also provide laptops, tablets, internet access, and online learning resources to help them cope with the challenges of distance learning.
Household good assistance: We help Native American families who need household goods for their homes. We provide bedding, towels, curtains, dishes, cookware, utensils, appliances, furniture, and other items to help them create a comfortable and functional living space. We also provide tools, materials, and labor to help them repair, improve, or decorate their homes.
We believe that basic supplies are not only necessities, but also sources of dignity, comfort, and joy. We are here to help you obtain and use the basic supplies that suit your situation and goals.
